Account Deletion

Delete Account

Effective Date: April 2, 2026

Idle Hour Studios allows users to request deletion of a game account and associated data for supported services, including Descent Defender.

In-App Deletion

Users can request account deletion from within Descent Defender through the in-game account or settings flow. If you cannot access the game, you may submit a deletion request by emailing dante.carbone@idlehourstudios.com and including the game name, your player or account ID if available, your platform, and any relevant purchase details needed to help verify ownership.

Email Request Fallback

  1. Email your request to dante.carbone@idlehourstudios.com if you cannot access the in-game deletion flow.
  2. State that you are requesting account deletion and identify the specific game involved.
  3. Provide the game name, player or account ID if available, platform, and any relevant purchase details needed to help verify ownership.
  4. Respond to any follow-up verification questions if we need to confirm account ownership before processing the request.

What Deletion May Remove

Deleting an account may permanently remove access to saved progress, cloud saves, virtual items, currencies, unlocks, passes, subscription-related entitlements, restored purchases, linked account access, and related customer-support or service history associated with that account.

Verification and Processing

We may require reasonable identity or account-ownership verification before processing a deletion request. This helps protect user accounts, prevent unauthorized requests, and preserve the integrity of our services, purchase records, and support systems.

Information We May Retain

Some information may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, transaction validation, legal compliance, accounting, auditing, chargebacks, dispute resolution, enforcement, recordkeeping, or other legitimate operational needs. Backups and log records may also persist for a limited period before deletion or overwrite in the ordinary course of system operations.

If you have an active subscription through a platform or app store, you may need to cancel it separately through that platform's subscription management tools.

Unity Player Account Note

If a product uses Unity Player Accounts, deletion of the Unity Player Account itself may require a separate Unity-managed step through https://player-account.unity.com/delete-account. This is a secondary account-provider step only where applicable. It applies to the Unity Player Account itself and may not by itself delete all game-related records maintained by Idle Hour Studios, such as support records, entitlement records, security logs, or other service data retained under our Privacy Policy.
